Welcome to Aham, the cross-domain authentication system for the brah.ma ecosystem. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our authentication services, websites, and applications (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Account Creation and Management
Our authentication system provides several methods for account creation and sign-in:

- You may use Web3 wallet authentication through services like MetaMask
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
2.2 Account Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- You may not share your account credentials with others
- You may not create accounts for the purpose of misrepresentation or impersonation
3. Authentication Methods
We offer various authentication methods for your convenience and security:
3.1 Email Authentication
- Traditional email/password registration and login
- Magic link authentication (passwordless email links)
- Email verification processes for security
3.2 Third-Party Authentication
You may sign in using third-party services, including:
- Google: Using your Google account credentials
- Facebook: Using your Facebook account credentials
- LinkedIn: Using your LinkedIn account credentials
- Apple: Using Sign in with Apple
- Pinterest: Using your Pinterest account

4. User Conduct

5. Cross-Domain Services
As a cross-domain authentication system, Aham provides services across the brah.ma ecosystem:

- Your authentication status and basic profile may be shared across these domains
- Each domain in our ecosystem may have additional terms of service
- Karma points and other reputation metrics may be tracked across domains
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by us, our licensors, or other providers and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services without our prior written consent.
7. Data Handling and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with your use of our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using our Services, you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with our Privacy Policy.
8. Account Termination

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
We do not warrant that the Services will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location, or that any errors or defects will be corrected.
While we implement security measures to protect your account, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for unauthorized access to your account if it results from your actions or failures to protect your credentials.
11. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, RESULTING FROM:
- YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES
- ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES
- ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT
REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless our company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
- Any claim that your actions caused damage to a third party
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be exclusively brought in the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Services.

16. Web3 and Cryptocurrency Provisions
For Web3 and cryptocurrency wallet authentication:
- You are responsible for the security of your private keys
- Transactions on public blockchains are irreversible
- We are not responsible for any loss of digital assets or private keys
- Blockchain protocols and networks may change over time
- You understand the risks associated with blockchain technology
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
18. Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
